Black Rock Shooter will be streamed in 8 languages!

This is unprecedented but gives you a hint on what can be the future of legal anime streaming.

The new Black Rock Shooter series will premiere on February 2 on Fuji Tv's Nnoitamina slot, and it will be streamed in Nico Nico Douga website on February 3 in 8 languages, but it won't be worldwide, but available in the following countries:

English: United States, Canada
French: France, Belgium, Monaco, Switzerland, Andorra
Italian: Italy
German: Germany
Spanish: Spain, Mexico, Chile, Argentina
Korean: South Korea
Traditional Chinese: Taiwan
Simplified Chinese: Mainland China, Singapore

At least this is a beginning.

Black Rock Shooter anime will premiere on January

The eight-episode BRS television anime will premiere in the Fuji TV network’s Noitamina late-night timeslot in January.



hmm, only 8 episodes O_O? The quality should be stunning, then.

New Black Rock Shooter anime announced!

It will air in the Nnoitamina slot of Fuji TV in January of next year. While studio Ordet will animate the production, director Yutaka Yamamoto of the original OVA will not be associated with the project.

Hmm not sure what to make of this, I don't necessarily want to imply that there will be a decrease in quality until I see the first trailer, right?

Even AnimeNation's commenter notes that 'This production was easy to see coming, but airing this as a Noitamina series seems to outright contradict the original purpose and theme of Noitamina programming. The Noitamina block was launched to feature anime targeted at non-otaku viewers. BRS is about as hardcore otaku-oriented as anything gets.'
