New Hunter X Hunter movie announced!

Yes, even after the premiere of the 1st film, Hunter X Hunter: Phantom Rouge, there's a second film announced and in the works!

The film was announced in a small teaser that was screened after the premiere of the first movie in theaters, which was on Saturday, January 12.

The teaser featured Netero, the chairperson of the Hunters Association, in front of a backdrop of a dimly lit street with a tall tower similar to the Heavens Arena.

This trailer aired during this week's anime episode. Titled 'Phantom Rouge', the premise is centered on Kurapika's quest for revenge against the Phantom Troupe members that massacred his clan.

The film also ties with the most current chapters of the manga that still continues in Shonen Jump, as it shows the person with the number 4 spider tattoo.

The movie will premiere on January 12 in Japanese theaters.
