Discotek has announced plans for a debut American release of the original four Saint Seiya theatrical films on subtitled DVD. The 1987 and 1988 films will be released on a single DVD while the second 1988 film and the 1989 film will be released on a single DVD.
While AD Vision released the television series’ first 60 episodes on domestic DVD, and Crunchyroll has streamed the Saint Seiya prequel series “Lost Canvas” and sequel series “Omega,” the four theatrical films from the 1980s have never previously had an official American release.
