Bandai is best known to distribute the many Gundam series alongside its sister company Sunrise: such as G Gundam, Gundam Wing and the many variations of the original Gundam.
Back in December, Bandai had closed up their online store. Since February, Bandai had stopped having new releases but continued their distribution of anything on their existing catalog. According to several retailers, Bandai had sent them a notice that they will stop everything come March 1, 2013.
Bandai Entertainment was founded in 1998 and is a subsidiary of Namco.
