Gurren Lagann manga ends this year

Manga creator Kotaro Mori announced on his Twitter account last Monday that his manga adaptation of GAINAX's Gurren Lagann mecha anime will end this year.

The final volume of the manga will ship by the end of the re-broadcast of the anime in Japan. The anime's rebroadcast will premiere on Tokyo MX and other television stations on January 5. Mori also mentioned that a Gurren Lagann radio program will also launch this month. At the end of his message, Mori wished everyone a great New Year.

Medaka Box will have a second season!

Next week’s issue of Shonen Jump magazine will formally confirm rumors from last spring that the Medaka Box anime television series from Gainax will get a second season. The series’ first 12-episode season has just finished its Japanese broadcast.
