This year we have more Psycho-Pass anime, HunterxHunter, Saint Seiya Omega and hopefully new seasons of favorites of last year such as Kamisama Hajimemashita, and K, which got greenlit.

And of course, the established powerhouses One Piece and Naruto Shippuden. (If only Gintama got serious...)

On April, we're getting two new mecha series: Gargantia and Valvrave. Let's see how they fare.

Hopefully we'll get surprises just as last fall with great new series.

Sket Dance will have an OVA

After the anime ended last month, an OVA of the series by Kenta Shinohara has been announced for next year.

It's likely that the anime series can return next year, the issue is the clash with Gintama anime which just returned, unless they alternate.

I would love to see another Gintama/Sket Dance crossover, though ^_^

Gintama anime returns with new episodes on October 4

The latest promo of the returning anime shows Gintoki-san telling a message for all viewers and fans.

Can't wait!!! *cries*

Gintama anime is back on October 4!!!!

They really had it well hidden, huh? I originally thought the anime would make a comeback in 2013 with the upcoming movie, but they went ahead!!

Studio Sunrise and TV Tokyo's have confirmed that Gintama will return on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., starting October 4.

In addition to "Yorinuki Gintama-san" (a repeat of selected Gintama anime episodes), the broadcast will include new Gintama episodes. There's still details of the upcoming movie to be announced, other than author Sorachi Hideaki personally involved with the script.

(let's pray this comeback is permanent!)

Gintama anime to end on March 26, (tomorrow!)

Oh, God. The end of Gintamonday.

The last issue of Weekly Shonen Jump reported that the Gintama television anime series is drawing to a close on TV Tokyo after five years.

The original TV series adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi sci-fi historical comedy premiered on April 4, 2006 and aired until March 25, 2010.

The 252nd episode is titled "Gomen Nasai" (We're Sorry), although the previous week's next-episode preview listed the title as "Mitei" ("To Be Determined").

Starting on April 2, the animated television series Gon will air on TV Tokyo at 6:00 p.m. on Mondays — Gintamas current timeslot.
